Mustad International Group

Mustad International Group is a private family business with its roots stretching back to 1832 when the original family members started with the machine manufacture of small steel items in Norway. Through 7 Generations of the Mustad Family, it has grown and now encompasses manufacturing and sales companies located throughout the world and has a presence on every continent.

Involved in diverse industries including Equine Hoof Care, Fluid Tank Systems, Cardboard packaging, Precision Engineering, and Oil Recycling, Mustad has grown to be wide spread multinational while still retaining its core family values. Strong support for and loyalty to, its staff and customers has always been the backbone of the Group and these values remain predominant today.

The HoofCare Division includes many of the best known equine brands in the global market today and is represented in every market. The HoofCare Division produces, from its own factories, a full range of products including Horse Shoes, Farrier Tools, and Equine products while still being most recognized for its world leading Horse Shoe Nails that continue as they have for over 150 years to be simply called "Mustad".
